See that guy over there? He is my daddy. Yes, that is an alcoholic beverage in his hand. It is Maker's Mark and Coke. See those fingernails? They are painted alternately pink and silver, but just on that one hand. Do you know why I posted that? Cause my dad is the greatest. He drinks socially (that was taken at a family reunion), he lets his great-niece paint his fingernails, and he knows how to have a good time. He is who has given me a strong work ethic, he has always encouraged me to succeed. He has always been there to support me even at times I was too embarrassed to ask for his help. He is the reason I have high expectations of my husband's parenting skills. My daddy set the bar high and I expect everyone to rise to it or exceed it. My daddy is a spectacular Grandpa. My children are so lucky to have him. Right now he is cool because he has a bulldozer and a pool. When they get older I hope they will realize the valuable lessons they have learned from him. So I hope you had a wonderful day Daddy. I love you.

RLL: If you click the picture, you can see the nails better. The pink is all that really shows up though. My mom had remover, but didn't tell him til the last day of the trip, so he looked like that for 3 days. And yes, he is awesome. The bestest daddy ever.
I agree with you totally. He is one of the coolest people I know. You were so lucky to have him as a dad. And I love hanging with him socially to....lol
