The Hiatus

I was fortunate enough to have last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off from work last week. My boss was out of town on an important golf trip. We went camping with some friends. It was a nice weekend. Not too hot and sheltered from the sun by trees. Thursday night Scottie and I camped alone. it was a nice little escape. Then my aunt brought the babies up and our friends arrived Friday afternoon. For a total of 9 people and 3 tents. The kids all played at the park. The adults played cards and drank adult beverages (shhh don't tell on us- it was a state park). Nathan refused to go to sleep in the tent the first night. He said he wanted to go home to his bed, but finally after over 2 hours of trying, he went to sleep. Alexis fought sleep a little but it was mostly because she wanted to keep playing. Saturday was much better and they both slept fine. Sunday when we packed up to come home, they were both sad and asked to stay. Alexis was disappointed that she didn't get to go fishing, so her daddy has promised to take her soon. We will be taking them camping again this summer. I will post some of pictures of this trip one day this week.

On another note, I had another job interview this morning. The woman who I spoke with was impressed with my resume (yay), and really liked me. I am hoping that I will get called back for a final interview. If I get this job, my family will have free orthodontic care, and we just might need it for the babies. Their teeth are kind of crooked. I am hoping they get more straight as all of them come in though.
